This visit was held in conjunction with World Anti-Corruption Day (HARKODIA) with a group from the West Kalimantan Media Center Team.
During the meeting, Hasbillah emphasized the importance of strategic collaboration between SPRM and LAKI in strengthening law enforcement in both countries. the main focus of the discussion was cross-border issues, such as smuggling and corruption, which require a joint approach to be addressed.
“We really emphasize the need for strict enforcement of laws to deal with illegal activities on the Malaysia-Indonesia border. "This collaboration will help us gather important information and identify the masterminds involved," said Hasbillah.
The General Chair of LAKI, Burhanuddin Abdullah, also expressed his organization's commitment to collaborating closely with SPRM in dealing with violations of the law. He hopes that this close relationship can increase synergy in upholding integrity and justice in both countries.
Apart from that, this visit is also an opportunity to discuss the exchange of information and joint efforts in detecting perpetrators of cross-border crimes. Hasbillah hopes that the proposed cooperation will receive full support from the leadership of both countries.
